Trinitas hematologists concern themselves with a patient's blood and the
generation of blood in the bone marrow. Hematologists examine and treat
diseases that are caused by imbalances of red blood cells, white blood cells
and platelets, and their relative proportions and general cell health,
notably leukemia, anemia and thrombocytopenia.
While hematological disorders are not cancers, the offices of our highly
skilled and compassionate, board-certified hematology specialists are
located in the Trinitas Comprehensive Cancer Center, so their patients can
also benefit form a comprehensive staff and the latest treatments and
technology that treat a variety of blood diseases.
