TCCC Refreshing & Delicious Fruity Summer Smoothies
TCCC Patients, families, and staff cooled off with Cheryl's delicious and refreshing fruit smoothies. Cheryl, TCCC's
Dietitian, explained how the fruit base is filled with antioxidants and
vitamins, and that the nutritional value can improve by adding soy milk,
protein powder, or yogurt. The best part of all was that patients and
families had an opportunity to speak with one another and have fun while
getting treatment. Even the next day patients were raving about the fun they
had at TCCC! Our staff enjoyed the healthy afternoon treat as well. Please
